ORTHOTHERAPY
What is orthotherapy
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
It is a manual therapy which combines massage, joint mobilizations and vertebral mobilizations to which are added specific techniques (trigger points, active release, etc.) in order to treat muscular, joint and postural pathologies.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
In other words, the orthotherapist is a massage therapist and physiotherapist who specializes in global musculoskeletal treatment.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
What can be treated with orthotherapy?
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Almost everything related to muscles, joints and posture.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Examples:
-Back / neck pain
-Sciatic nerves
-Migraine / headache / Arnold's nerve
-Tendinitis / Bursitis / Capsulitis

-Etc.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
How long does a treatment take?
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Are there any risks associated with spinal mobilizations?
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
No. Here we have to differentiate between vertebral MOBILIZATION and vertebral MANIPULATION.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Spinal Mobilization : Execution of a SLOW movement, during the client's exhalation, which RESPECTS the normal range of motion of the body.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Spinal manipulation : Execution of a BRUSH movement, beyond the normal range of motion (This is a gesture reserved only for certified professionals, because it involves a risk).
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Kinesiology
What is kinesiology?
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Kinesiology is a discipline which studies the movements and postures of the human body under its biomechanical, anatomical, physiological, neurological, biochemical, neuromotor and psychological components.
In other words, kinesiologists are specialists in human movement, physical health and lifestyle, whose main means of intervention is physical activity. They also contribute to the optimization of posture and the adoption of better health behaviors.
Who is kinesiology for?
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
For everyone, whether you have a health problem or not, regardless of age.
Examples:
- Musculoskeletal problems (tendonitis, pain in the knees, hips, etc.)
- Metabolic problems (diabetes, hypothyroidism, obesity, etc.)
- Cardiovascular problems (angina, myocardial infarction (heart attack), phlebitis, etc.)
- Lung problems (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, asthma, etc.)

Kinesiology
-
Amélioration des amplitudes articulaires ;
-
Augmentation du relâchement musculaire et du confort lors de la réalisation de tâches domestiques, professionnelles ou sportives ;
-
Amélioration et maintien actif sans douleur de la posture ;
-
